Ferrari has unveiled the SC40, a one-of-a-kind supercar created by the brand’s Special Projects division as a modern homage to the legendary F40.
Based on the 296 GTB platform, the SC40 retains its mid-rear-engine layout and hybrid twin-turbo V6 powertrain. The design reinterprets the classic F40 silhouette with a long, low front end, short rear overhangs, and a bold fixed rear wing, while introducing contemporary proportions and aerodynamic refinement.
Inside, the SC40 blends nostalgia and modern craftsmanship. The cabin features carbon-Kevlar construction, charcoal Alcantara seats, and red Jacquard fabric details—echoing the raw racing spirit of the original F40 while maintaining Ferrari’s modern luxury standards.
Producing around 820 horsepower, the SC40 can sprint from 0–100 km/h in about 2.9 seconds. But its true exclusivity lies in the fact that only one unit exists, crafted for a single discerning client.
The Ferrari SC40 stands as both a tribute to Ferrari’s iconic past and a statement of bespoke automotive artistry, merging performance, heritage, and individuality in a single masterpiece.
